EXCITING NEW PODCAST PRODUCTIONS AT UNMUTED STUDIO
Our PowerHouse podcast production team, Farran and Tricia, worked with two exciting clients at Unmuted Studio recently! We hosted Mini Timmaraju of Reproductive Freedom for All and filmed her podcast My Body, My Pod, in-house. Then we took our production crew on the road to shoot KCRW’s Sam Sanders Show, an episode featuring famed chef/author/Netflix star Samin Nosrat.
Farran was definitely “fangirling” at the shoot.

WOMEN IN PRODUCTION MIXER
Our first Women in Production Mixer in November was deeply connecting & joyful. Artists, filmmakers, writers, photographers, podcasters, archivists, media producers and healers all gathered to make ✨magic✨ happen.
Unmuted Studio client, Dr. Pamela Mehta, delivered a short talk about her experience as a surgeon in a heavily male-dominated field and how she has claimed her power as the host of the Resilience Factor Podcast (many episodes were shot at PowerHouse’s Unmuted Studio!) Fifteen attendees shared stories about their work, creative aspirations and how being a woman in production has impacted their creative process. PowerHouse member Dulce Fernandez @masdulcesoul spun records throughout the event in our Sound Garden (kitchen). Good vibes all around! We’re happy to have made new friends and colleagues and we cannot wait to collaborate and build community with everyone. We’re hoping to host these Women in Production Mixers at least once a quarter in 2026.

We hosted our first Clothing Swap in collaboration with our friends & Fiscal Sponsor, Local Color. It was a HUGE hit, and we plan to host Clothing Swaps monthly in 2026!
